Thanks for your comments guys, muchly appreciated :)

Aut Mercurial, thanks! Action isnt my string point, I hope I pull it off in the next pages ^^
Haha and yeah, Fern Gulley, I know, its ridiculous, it wasnt even that good XD I used to be made of stone, never cried at anything! Then I watched 'Little Woman' and cried for the first time at anything, then I think I opened a flood gate :P

Monpiki, thank you ^_^ The Tilak on their heads is a Sri Vaishnavism Tilak. Its specific to a sect of Hindus who worship and value Vishnu and his avatars over other Hindu gods. They also worship through things like Yoga and chanting, which is why I specifically chose Hemu and his Gramps to be of this sect, as it fits in with their 'duties' as Vetala hunters ^^

Readers can catch a break this week, as I've been unable to draw much since London Expo was last weekend haha. Had a great time though, and it was great to meet and chat to anyone who reads this comic/said hello!

And woo Hemus secret is out, hes a 'Vetala hunter' or some kind of vampire hunter! I had quite a build up to this point, I wanted it to be like a traditional 'Dracula' thing, not really seeing the 'other side' of a characters life until quite a way in. I hope you guys will enjoy the action scenes coming up! :)

Great to see you at expo! And also: THIS IS AMAZING! Real life culture issues, fantasy monsters and glowey hand powers action??!! This is ticking every box! XD

Awesome! ^__^ .... haha, I would totally run away from that!

Things are getting crazy here! This is not where I was expecting things to go when I was reading this. Thanks for clearing up the Tilak question. My older brother is a Gaudiya Vaisnava, which would explain why it looks similar, being a Vaisnava sect and all.

Things are definitely getting even more curious!

Hahaha, I have to agree with Mimi-Evelyn on this one. Cultural commentary and monster fight scenes! something for everyone. Things just got crazy! :) Definitely wasn't expecting a Vetala in the alleyway.
