yowch, sorry for the big update ^^; I'm excited to move on to the sinister bits now though >:D

Thanks so much for all your comments guys! I appreciate it so much ^_^ And thanks to all the new readers, I hope you enjoy the comic ^^

Sentiashinou, thank you! ^_^ I hope you enjoy the rest of it!

eternalbeliever- yeah we get repatriations a lot, pretty much whoever dies in Afghanistan in particular gets taken back to the RAF base near our town, I think. Its very sad! If you've seen on tv you might have seen Wootton Bassett on there too (and possibly my house which is on the high street lol)

Thank you mangazebra! ^_^ Yeah, I like attention to detail, I'm hoping people wont find it boring 0_o I hope you enjoy the rest of it.

So, regards page 41, I *hate* the 'P' word, and how much I hear it used =_= I think its really derogatory... I'm not sure if readers outside the UK have heard it/know the term. Basically the term is 'Paki', its a derogatory word used generally for Asian/middle eastern people, its a shortened version of 'Pakistani' although I've hardly ever heard it be used toward people who are from that country =_= I thought I'd explain it here, 'cos it might used a few times in the comic (unfortunately!).

And I'm reading Marmalade Boy for the first time ever, and I love it! 0_0 I got the whole series for £8 at an animecon, and wow its the best shojo/drama I've read since 'Emma' (my favourite drama comic). Anyone else read it? I so prefer Yuu over Ginta XD

Just to say, I think it's an interesting thing to mention, Joe and I saw a documentary about someones brother, the documenters brother, who had become 'islamist' so Muslim, I think, allahs religion, and Islamist is the term for White people who choose this religion. It was very interesting as this guy and his 'brothers' (his fellow Muslim friends) had changed their wayscompletley, but for some reason chose to be rid of all their existing friends as a result of their conversion. The documenter also followed a young lad who had just changed at 17. it was a very interesting documentary as, particularly the documenters brother, had very extreme views. A lot of people don't have correct views on Islamic religion- you know like when they think all Muslims are out to be terrorists? Well of course that isn't true- and it was krondic because these guys were really digging at every day people for judging Muslims, yet in their extremist views, they burnt the American flag, on the anniversary of 9/11 - things like this, the documenters brother wouldn't even touch the documenter, even though they had been close for years. Hebasiclalyhated anyone who wasn't Islamist- not giving a shit of how accepting or not accepting they were of his religion, even if people were accepting, if they weren't Muslim, he hated them. I found it just, ironic!Icanbarely forgive people who judge anyone with dark skin and instantly think them terrorist- but those people are just annoying because they are ignorant. It's even worse when someone is fully AWARE of both points of view, having grown up with one!! But chooses to hate, so much, thus reinforcing that ignorant view. I also do not believe that Allah would intend such, hate!in people. I was shocked at how much this man was using his religion to sput such hatred, and not love. It's another example of western view taking religion and turning it on it's head for personal gain.

Hey um, what is "repatriations"? I should've asked about it soon, but better late than never, right? ^^; I assume it's some kind of ceremony to respect those who died in a war?

@30-w-knight, oh man. It's really sad to hear such things. It's shocking that he cut all connection to his friends like that. Those kinds of extremists are really worsening the image of Islam.... At least I can still think that those are the minority (but a growing minority, apparently. It's worrying). Glad to hear your views!

Sinister bits!!?? O_O ohnoes!

It is a real pity that these views are so common nowadays. We can only hope they'll die out when peace is restored to the Middle east.

I HATE the P word, my mum says it sometimes not because shes racist shes just ignorant. I have told her many many times before every-time not to use that term. And she knows she shouldnt say it. She KNOWS that but she finds it amusing so she wont stop. Personally the word makes my skin crawl whenever I hear it. I also find the H word they use for mixed race people very degrading :(
I used to read marmalade boy! Never finished it though but I love the artists other work Ultra maniac :D I didnt know it was licensed?!
