GO BACK TO PAGE 16!! to read the newest pages :P

Thanks for your comments guys, always muchly appreciated!! :)

Mimi, its good that you're discussing it! Our 'national attitude' is what the comic is going to be about, really, so its nice that someones talking about it already XD
Although Hemu isn't Afghani, he's Indian/English (explained later in comic!) but the idea that most people in the town will end up associating him with the war and terrorists is a big part of the story. You wouldn't believe the amount of people I meet who just associate all Asian people with being nasty and terrorists, its ridiculous >_<
And omg I love Kite Runner, what a lovely story! *_* Made me feel sad though, it seems like a gorgeous country culturally, I wish it was easier to enjoy it ;_;

Falconer, thank you ^_^ Haha I guess you'll be able to get a taste of real English culture XD Perhaps we're more stereotypically English then we want people to think XD

This is Hannah, the 'gossip girl'. I was going to make her a twitter account and use it as narration and to build up the 'horror' element of the story, but I decided to ditch that since timing wouldnt work out unless I drew the whole comic first o_0

I'm uploading early since I'm going to Devises today ^_^ Hopefully I'll update every Tues and Weds, but I'll have to wait and see.

Thanks muchly for reading!

Aww, hahaha, is Hemu the socially awkward type? I feel for him... XD;

aw, love those last two panels XD Who needs to socialize and make friends? Pffft...lol

It amazes me how easy it is for people to turn against others b/c of war and such, even if they've known them or they've lived in the area a while. After 9/11, it was pretty much the same thing in the states...some people are still super paranoid about people who look Muslim, which I find ridiculous. Muslim is a very popular religion...and the percentage of them who are actually terrorists I think is quite small. People being so ignorant - graaah it drives me crazy!

Ahh love this so far, the expressions are great! And the setting is very interesting and, I have to say, quite thought provoking. I look forward to seeing where you take this, it's a very contemporary topic no?
